YTU has two campuses, located in Davutpaşa and Beşiktaş. Before you arrange your accommodation, it is important to identify the campus on which you will mostly be located during your stay, studies or visit. Yıldız Campus
Yıldız Campus is in Beşiktaş which is a student friendly district. It is close to the areas called Taksim and Şişli.
How to get to Yıldız Campus:
from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW):
Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) is on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus about 30 km (19 miles) Southeast of Haydarpaşa Station, the Kadıköy ferry dock. You can travel between Sabiha Gökçen Airport and the centre of Istanbul by city bus (E-10), shuttle van (Havaist Shuttle), taxi, private transfer or car rental. You can take the E-10 city bus, it departs from Sabiha Gökçen Airport about every 15-20 minutes throughout the day. The bus stops at several bus stations in the town nearby, then goes on the E-5 highway to Kadıköy. You can get off at Vergi Dairesi stop and take the 500T city bus. Then you can get off at Edirnekapı Kaleboyu stop and take 41AT going to Davutpaşa Campus directly. This route may take long time, so you can go for other possible route options as well. You can obtain the full schedule from the IETT website here: (http://www.iett.istanbul/en) Havaist Shuttle (Airport Buses) in the direction of Sabiha Gökçen Airport depart from Taksim Square in Beyoğlu on the European side. Shuttles are timed in accordance with the arrival of all flights, departing from the airport 25 minutes after the flight arrival time. From Beyoğlu, you can take M2 (Yenikapı) metro line, please get off at Yenikapı stop and transfer to M1 (Yenikapı-Atatürk Havalimanı), you can get off at ‘Davutpaşa-Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi’ stop.

from Istanbul Airport (IST):
You can use airport shuttles, taxi or public transportation to get to Yıldız Campus from Istanbul Airport. Take the Havaist Airport shuttle to Beşiktaş Meydan and from there you can take one of the busses numbered 27E, 29D, 30A, 41E, 43R, 559C, 63 and get off at “Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi” stop. Check https://www.hava.ist/ for up-to-date Airport shuttle lines, bus schedules and to purchase your ticket in advance.

Metrobus: The nearest metrobus station to YTU Beşiktaş Campus is Zincirlikuyu. After you get off at Zincirlikuyu station, you can take a bus to reach the campus.
Ferry: Refer to http://www.sehirhatlari.istanbul/ for timetables and lines. The nearest port to the campus is Beşiktaş Port. After you disembark, you can walk up the Barbaros Blv. or take a bus/minibus to reach campus.
Davutpaşa Campus
Davutpaşa Campus is in Esenler, which is close to the districts called Bakırköy,
Bahçelievler and some parts of Zeytinburnu.
How to get to Davutpaşa Campus
from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW):
You can take the M4 Sabiha Gökçen-Kadıköy metro, get off at Ayrılık Çeşmesi and transfer to Marmaray heading to Halkalı or Ataköy. Get off at Yenikapı station and take M1A Yenikapı- Atatürk Airport metro line (red line) and get off at “Davutpasa – YTU Campus” station. from Istanbul Airport (IST):
You can use airport shuttles, taxi or public transportation to get to Yıldız Campus from Istanbul Airport. Take the Havaist Airport shuttle to Otogar (Esenler) and from there you can transfer to M1 (Yenikapı-Atatürk Havalimanı) metro line heading to Atatürk Havalimanı and get off at ‘Davutpaşa-Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi’ stop. Marmaray: From Kazlıçeşme marmaray station, you can take bus 85C. This bus line
rides between Kazlıçeşme station and Davutpaşa Campus.
Metro: To reach the campus by metro, take M1A (Atatürk Airport – Yenikapı) metro line (red line) and get off at “Davutpasa – YTU Campus” station.

Metrobus: Get off at Cevizlibağ station. Cross the bridge and at Cevizlibağ bus stop, to reach the campus take either bus 41AT or the shuttle.
